The house is 2 1/2 stories and has a basement. The foundation is stone, exterior siding on first floor is vinyl and the second floor has shake siding. The roof has asphalt shingles and structure is timber light frame. Fair condition. Potential buyer must read over all attached paperwork from Commonwealth regarding this item.

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) anticipates that the potential buyer would disassemble the structure or move as-is and relocate it from park property no later than November 30, 2023. DCNR is seeking potential buyers until February 28, 2023.

The potential buyer should enter into the purchase with the intent to preserve and retain the structure’s historic character and architecturally significant traits in keeping with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (https://www.nps.gov/orgs/1739/secretary-standards-treatment-historic-properties.htm). While the sale of the structure will entail consultation with the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office (PA SHPO) that DCNR will coordinate, subsequent consultation with the PA SHPO is the responsibility of the buyer.
